Suite of 19 accurate anatomical plates for the use of painters, by Johann Daniel Preisler (1666-1737). Preisler was a notable member of a German artistic family. He is known for his portraits, nudes and history paintings and a sequence of works on art-theory. His works were translated into several other languages and served as textbooks for students.
