Farah Karimi was a member of parliament for GroenLinks in the Dutch House of Representatives (1998-2006) and executive director of Oxfam Novib (2008-2018). Since 2019 she has been a member of the Dutch Senate for GroenLinks. She previously wrote 'The Secret of the Fire' (together with Chris Keulemans) and 'Battlefield Afghanistan.'
