Defence Speeches

This volume presents five of Cicero's most famous defence speeches: of Roscius, accused of murder; of Murena, accused of bribery; of Archias, on a citizenship charge; of Caelius, accused of violence; and of Milo, accused of murdering Cicero's hated enemy Clodius.
