E. G. Asplund, 1885 - 1940

Asplund's work is perhaps best characterized by the central importance of a design that is rooted in human emotions and sensibilities. This monograph presents thorough examinations of 11 realized projects, including the Stockholm Central Library and the Woodland Cemetery. The interiors and exteriors of all his buildings are richly portrayed on full-page spreads which are accompanied with plans, diagrams and introductory texts.
