El Croquis 140: Alvaro Siza 2001 - 2008

The global renaissance in architecture has afforded Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza a wide range of opportunities to generate new and exciting architecture over recent years. Seventeen projects built over the last eight years, including Maison van Middelem-Dupont, the Multipurpose Pavilion, Gondomar, House in Majorca, Armanda Passos House, Anyang Pavilion, and the Museum for the Iberę Camargo Foundation are thoroughly examined in this volume. All are accompanied by full page colour photographs, sketches, plans, elevations, models, and introduced by an extensive interview with the architect.
