Fujio Saimon - Star kids

Japanese photographer Fujio Saimon has created numerous photo essays in various parts of the globe. In his fourth book, Salmon collects his portraits of children from China, Indonesia, Israel, Nepal, Mexico, and the U.S. These photographs are an attempt to capture the purity children possess, meeting their gaze with an arresting clarity and directness. The photographer writes in his introduction that he was bullied for looking into the eyes of other kids. He has clearly now overcome this, and has brought fourth the radiance of the young.
