Half calf, marbled paper boards, flat spine with gilt title label. Complete with 27 plates: 1 folding front., 18 numbered engravings and 7 numbered folding plates by Fruijtiers, and 1 large folding woodengraving. Shelfwear to binding, corners bumped, spine damaged at top and bottom (with loss of leather). Bottom edge blackened (not affecting text or plates). Inner hinges weak, but binding is still intact. Plates and text well preserved.
