Having raised a family, followed by a successful career as a buyer of fine jewelry, Natalie Hoogasian began traveling the world as a serious photographer. She has dedicated her life to bringing beauty to others, so with this desire began the next phase of her life. Her three decade long career, working with and surrounded by magnificent jewels, honed her eye. She uses her photo- graphy to portray the beauty in nature, ancient architecture and in the interesting faces of people of other cultures. She is largely self taught and prefers to shoot in natural light with a minimum of tools: a tripod, one camera and a maximum of two lenses. She lives her life in San Francisco, California.
