Special edition of the exhibition catalogue from the Jeu de Paume, Paris (2003) bound in red cloth with dustjacket with essays in French Abadie, Jean Roudant, Patrick Roegiers, Jean-Michel Goutier, Renilde Hammacher and Bernard Noel, with a detailed chornology of the artist's life and work, and 190 large color plates of the Magritte works on exhibit (and 70 other illustrations). The Blue Box was published on the occasion of the Magritte-exhibition (Jeu de Paume, Paris 2003). On the cover: 'Trompe l'oeuil (under plexiglas) of 'La Lunette d'approche', inside: Silk-screen print of 'Les mots et les images'. Contents of the box three portfolios with: 1) Three original etchings based on drawings by Magritte. 2) five-piece full size reproduction on canvas of 'L'evidence éternelle'. 3) Reproductions on adhesive paper of the original gouaches (8 prints of each): 'Biere de porc' and 'Confiture de cheval' + the French language catalogue of the exhibition.
