Science and Exploration in the Pacific

Deriving from an initiative of the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Society, these are studies of scientific and cultural discoveries made on Cook's 1768 voyage to the South Seas in Endeavour, and of issues arising from this and subsequent Pacific voyages by European explorers.
