The concert

A political comedy featuring an Albanian diplomat sent to Peking to complain of China's newly found friendship for the U.S. The complaint so annoys the Chinese they cut off all aid. The story is set in the 1970s when Albania was communist and China was its most brotherly ally. An inside look at communism in China by the author of The Palace of Dreams.
