The House of Words

The second part of the author's autobiography, continues from the year 1929 when he first came to London. He had little money and only the promise of a job, which in fact never materialised, but despite the unpromising start he began his literary life an subsequently gained experience as the editor of two literary magazines, eventually founding his own publishing house.
