Oblong 4to. With 4 original lithographs (one of which printed in 24 colours – Mourlot 350 / Bloch 1017 / Cantz 788), designed especially for this edition, & 103 full-page b/w reproductions. The text was printed by Draeger, while the plates were printed by Mourlot Frères. Goeppert-Cramer 113. Initially, all four lithos were designed in monochrome.
