The alphabet made from nude female models was created by Anthon and Anna Beeke and photographed by Kooiman as a Quadrat-Print publication. This was a series of experiments each one being 10 inches square ranging over the fields of classic design, the plastic arts, literature, architecture and music, these were not for sale but given away by de Jong.
