Het Madagascar plan

The Madagascar Plan was a 1940 Nazi plan to deport all European Jews to Madagascar, a plan that functioned as a supposed, but in reality brutal, "solution" to the "Jewish question," with the SS running the island as a super-ghetto and using Jews as hostages until the plan was abandoned in favor of systematic mass murder (the Holocaust).
