Ger Koole is full Professor of Business Analytics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He teaches Business Analytics, Data Science and Optimization to students of all levels and backgrounds. He has published close to 100 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed literature, and supervised almost 20 PhD students. He is (co-)founder of three companies in the areas of online advertising, workforce planning and revenue management. His work covers a broad range of techniques such as optimization, statistics and machine learning, applied in various business areas such as healthcare, customer contact and hospitality.
