Karen Hearn was curator of 16th- and 17th-century British art at Tate Britain in London and is now Honorary Professor at University College London. She writes, teaches, and broadcasts about art from 16th- and 17th-century Great Britain, particularly by Dutch artists who worked there. She curated a large number of special exhibitions.
