Ralph Thurm

Ralph Thurm is a leading expert in sustainability and transformation. After more than 30 years of practice in major corporations, non-profits and advisory services, he co-founded r3.0 - Redesign for Resilience and Regeneration in 2013 to counter the constant incrementalism in the design for solutions that could lead us to what government leaders already in 2012 described as a Green, Inclusive and Open Economy, described in the Rio+20 Conference outcome document ‘The Future We Want’. r.3.0 backcasts from the ideal of a regenerative & distributive economy and develops Blueprints, Transformation Journeys and additional programs and projects that help us understand the challenge, look at where we are and develops recommendations for the necessary maturation pathways. The Corona Chronicles developed as a separate and more private project and describe Ralph’s motivation for the work he’s doing. It relates to his professional work, but is much more his own private logbook in the context of the current COVID-19 crisis as a concerned citizen, husband, father and simply a part of humanity that needs to find a ‘New Normal’ of life.
