Sophie and Daisy were inseparable friends, until Daisy ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. On the eve of her trial for murder, Daisy jumps off a bridge and is presumed dead. Ten years later, while traveling in Australia, Sophie meets a stranger who calls herself Lina, but Sophie would know her former best friend anywhere. When Sophie shares her discovery with her journalist boyfriend, he convinces Sophie to return to Australia so he can cash in on the scoop of the century.
