Black Knight

Dubbed the 'man in black', guitarist Ritchie Blackmore found fame with 1970s rock giants Deep Purple. He then walked away from them to create Rainbow, only to abandon them and form another band in 1997 - Blackmore's Night. This book talks about his moodiness, his three marriages, the police chases and his passion for football. Black Knight has been written and researched by Jerry Bloom, a fan who first met Ritchie more than twenty years ago and has followed his varied career ever since. The result is a biography rich in detail and full of surprising insights.
