Blessed Duality

Himeko is a fourteen year old lonely little girl. But she is not like others of her age. She is all alone. There are no friends or acquaintances for her to lean on. No siblings, cousins or other family to support her. All she has are parents who struggle to understand her. But after having to rely on herself her whole life, she finally makes a new friend. In what way will she evolve and change under the influence of this new found partner? As she grows up, Himeko slowly starts realizing the woman she could become. Supported by her strange friend she starts to face the future with some bravery, while at the same time starting to see the world around her slightly different. Himeko's story of solitude, love, alienation, sadness and loss is a far too familiar one for many people in our modern day world. It is a fear many people share, as is the difficulty of maintaining a healthy relationship with people who struggle with their own demons. She drags her way through all of the hardships as we all do, with severe difficulties and questionable success.
