Broken Promises

Julia needed a new start. The unexpected death of her favorite aunt sends Julia to the small artist town of Grand Marais along the picturesque North Shore of Lake Superior. There she starts to weave tattered threads into a vibrant new tapestry while rediscovering her love of sketching and running her aunt's antique shop, Past Imperfect. The arrival of well-worn package containing a strange note and an antique letter open piques her natural curiosity, but before Julia can untangle the mystery the letter opener is found embedded in Tom Peterson's chest. The tapestry of her new life begins to unravel as she is name a prime suspect. Now, left with few clues and a past not willing to let her go, Julia works to solve the murder and clear her name.
