Carlo Scarpia

A massive book mainly covering the Brion Family Cemetery located near Venice. One of Scarpa's largest projects, this also happens to be the place where he was buried. The overview includes ten other Scarpa creations in Italy such as the Canova Museum and various Biennale pavilions. Hundreds of colour photos of interiors and exteriors, surface details, and surroundings. Colour drawings and photos all printed on thick grainy paper, sturdily bound in a linen hardback, and wrapped in a paper jacket. Similar in concept to Toto's earlier books on Barragan, Candela, and Shinohara.
