Chris Beyer began his interest in American antique advertising signs, trays, and other promotional material in the mid 1980's with a purchase of a vintage Coca-Cola tray. Shortly thereafter, Chris began attending antique shows and purchasing books in pursuit of adding to his knowledge and collection. In addition to becoming an avid collector of original vintage promotional material, he has a fascination for the historical development and use of advertising items in America. Combining both collecting interest for vintage promotional materials and the appreciation of advertising items, he has co-authored two books on Coca-Cola collectibles as well as many articles on the subject of antique advertising for Collectors Showcase and The Insider Collector magazines.
