Effective Team Meetings

The purpose of this guide is to transform team meetings that directly or indirectly support children's learning into meaningful professional development experiences for you and the colleagues on your team. As the adults in young children's lives, we have a responsibility to ensure that they have access to high-quality early learning experiences that allow them to thrive. Think about all the meetings held in the service of children's learning, including those in: state agencies, school districts, regional organizations, and childcare programs. Adults get together to make decisions that influence children's well-being and learning. If we could transform all of these meetings into productive, collaborative learning conversations, we have a chance of ensuring equitable high-quality learning for all children.
