Golden years

In 2013, Ali Eskandarian was murdered in Brooklyn with two members of the Iranian band, The Yellow Dogs. In the months previously, Ali had been in correspondence with a publisher about his semi-autobiographical novel. Golden Years is that book. Set in New York, Teheran and Dallas, it tells the story of a group of Iranian musicians, of youthful decadence, of hope, disintegration and regeneration.
