Goya

Francisco de Goya y Lucientes (1746–1826), a prominent Spanish artist of the late 18th century, served as court painter to Kings Charles III and Charles IV. A brilliant portraitist, Goya also distinguished himself as an engraver. Whether working in the delicate Rococo style, expressive realism, or dark Romanticism, his unique and visionary style established him as one of the greatest masters of his era.
