The elegant houses designed by Charles Sumner Greene and Henry Mather Greene have come to define the Arts and Crafts movement in the United States. The author surveys masterpieces produced by the firm from the turn of the century to the 1920s. A number of the houses shown are presented for the first time after careful restoration.
