GUN FOR HIRE

A hard-hitting western tale rivaling the Duttons of 1883 fame or Janet Dailey's Caulder Saga, Gun For Hire tells a story of conflict, love and hate between three families that each built their personal dynasty during the late 1880s in the wild west of Platte County, Wyoming. The third book in the Circle-D Saga follows gunslinger Cody Jarvis in his secret mission to uncover land fraud and counterfeiting in the Wyoming Territory of 1885. His chance meeting with Maggie Dunlap both saves his life and sets him on a path of an unknown future desperately trying to win her love and prove his worth. Will he succeed in his quest or will fate deal him and Maggie a bad hand? Three frontier families become intertwined as the Dunlap, Logan, and Hartman family members spread their branches among the pages of Wyoming history. Cody's adventures encompass silver miners, Pinkerton agents, and train robberies and will eventually lead him to a new romantic relationship with female Pinkerton agent, Rosalyn O'Hara, and a future that is destined to end in tragedy when he faces past threats and rivals.
