Hallucinating Foucault is a love story, depicting the love between writer and reader in all its frightening intensity. Paul Michel is a literary master, a revolutionary writer who inspires his Reader with such devotion that he embarks on the strangest of quests: to liberate Paul Michel from the brutal system in which he's been incarcerated for the past ten years.
