Heliborne

Be it Grenada or the Lebanon, Vietnam or Panama, the US Marine Corps has always formed the spearhead of the American military machine. To perform its bridgehead role the Marines rely heavily on the helicopter. The art of heliborne assault has always been perfected using such types as the ubiquitous CH-46 'Frog' and the behemoth CH-53 Sea Stallion. Along with these main players in the 'troop trucking' role, the small, shark-like, AH-1 Sea Cobra has proven to be a tough 'jungle fighter' when its awesome fire-power has been called into play.
