Hell of Caen

What remains of adventure when you lose your freedom? The Hell of Caen tells the true life story of Marco Janzen. A life in which smuggling, far-flung journeys and encounters with celebrities meet the harsh reality of imprisonment. From France to New Zealand and Australia, from prison walls to vibrant Miami: Marco’s story takes readers through worlds that could hardly be further apart. Behind the remarkable encounters and adventures lies the darker side of a life filled with risk. A personal story of choices, consequences and the longing for freedom. A life that defies easy labels. Marco Janzen tells his story. Tonny Baars puts it into words.
