To produce a single pound of honey, honeybees will visit as many as 2 million flowers and travel a distance equal to three trips around the Earth. As they work, danger lurks along the way. Natural and environmental threats, coupled with an exhausting workload, make their lives challenging. Yet, despite despairing circumstances, the bees persevere.
