Walking the length of Britain – the other way. Most people walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats, but, according to Bill Bryson, the longest distance one can travel in a straight line without crossing salt water stretches between Bognor Regis and Cape Wrath. Dutch author Jeroen Vogel decides to become the first person ever to walk “The Bryson Line.” He shoulders his backpack, turns his back to the English Channel and starts heading north.
