This volume of Norbert Guthier's photographs inhabits the space between aesthetics and vitality, juxtaposing the secrets of the dark and the stark light of life. Dominant at times and submissive at others, the camera takes the lead or is content to "just" be there and record what it sees and features images that capture gestures of devotion and bodies that become almost tangible.
