Jeppe Hein

The Revenge of Minimalism Born in Copenhagen in 1974 and now resident in Berlin Jeppe Hein and his work have been causing quite a stir over the past five years – with his rolling benches and moving walls at Cologne’s Museum Ludwig, his surging curtains of water at Essen’s former coke works Kokerei and at the Venice Biennale or at a Gallery in Berlin where steel spheres at best scrape unchecked against the walls otherwise maliciously smashing into them. This first monographic publication of the artist appearing to accompany the exhibition at Kunstverein Heilbronn and contains many full-spread and full-page colour illustrations of the spectacular work and a complete index of all work with function descriptions.
