Metropolitan World Atlas

This atlas maps global cities such as Beijing, Lagos, London, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. Data such as population density, subway use, data traffic, highway speeds, and the average temperature in July can now be compared at a glance.

Despite the growing interest in global cities and global networks, these have never before been mapped in such a way. 101 global cities are illustrated in a similar way: the largest cities in terms of population size and in their aviation, maritime, and telecommunications networks, plus a number of cities that simply cannot be missed.
