Mondo Materialis

Featuring the best and the most provocative names in design, and more than 180 color photographs, Mondo Materials is a stunning unprecedented look at the future of design in the built environment. At the invitation of Steelcase Design Partnership, New York, more than 120 leading architectural, interior, and industrial design firms worldwide were asked to share their ideas and to explore the materials and technologies of the future. The participants created 30-inch-square collage panels for an exhibition intended to present an overview of the next generation of design. Not limited by the usual constraints of function and budget, their imaginations were given free rein to express their ideas.
