The six projects in this book - the airport in Cologne/Bonn, Germany; the Sony Center in Berlin; the Munich Airport Center and Kempinski Hotel in Munich, Germany; the Neues Kranzler Eck in Berlin; the HALO Headquarters building in Niles, Illinois, USA; and the Imperial Bank Tower Renovation in Costa Mesa, California, USA - reveal Jahn as an architect committed to exploring the material and preceptual possibilities of creating architecture in a new millennium, one with "a simplicity of form and construction and a clear expression of its component parts and purpose," as he describes it.
