Nutmeg

A mouthwatering new adventure to spice up the autumn from the creator of the bestselling Halibut Jackson. Nutmeg lives a very dull life with her old Uncle Nicodemus and Cousin Nesbitt. They eat nothing but cardboard for breakfast, string for lunch and sawdust for supper. Then one day she meets a genie who gives her a magic wooden spoon which not only conjures up all kinds of delicious food but also transforms the house into a ship, in which Nutmeg and her family sail off to new adventures! Praise for Halibut Jackson: - 'A charming book about overcoming shyness.' Observer - 'Delightfully satisfying.' Guardian - 'Instant classsic for once really does spring to mind... Original, clever and sophisticated.' Financial Times
