Oriental medicine

This work presents traditional medical systems of Asia in a way that should provide the general reader with the tools to understand their basic history, their main theories, and their diagnostic and therapeutic methods. It mostly concerns the actual problems of adaption and integration with Western biomedicine. The scope of the book is defined in terms of the worlds of Indian, Tibetan and Chinese medicine.
