Oskar Schlemmer

The name Oskar Schlemmer (1888–1943) is closely associated with the State Bauhaus, which was founded in 1919. As a painter, sculptor, draftsman, and graphic artist, as well as a muralist, set designer, and choreographer, Oskar Schlemmer is considered one of the most versatile artists of the 20th century.
