Ouroboros

Inspired by the mythical serpent Ouroboros, Ben Newman takes the reader on a wordless tale of action and adventure that juxtaposes brutal violence with ecstatic comic exuberance. Our protagonist fights a band of rogue, thuggish bandits after they murder his newly beloved mermaid.

Ben Newman is known for his contemporary fusion of bold shapes, bright colors, and playful characters. He has exhibited his work internationally and worked for a diverse range of clients including the Tate and Fantagraphics. Part of the Nobrow 17x23 series.
