This books deals with singular creations - produced by people who led or have led poignant lives, and which have resulted from innovative artistic dialogues.
Part 1, Outsider Art: Today and Yesterday, examines the meaning(s) that have over time been attributed to works created by people on the fringes of society. Part 2, Interaction, covers works that have resulted from a unique participatory creative process : contemporary artists produced works in collaboration with residents of La Carrosse.
