Our cities consist of introverted architectures that remain outside of urban life. They are closed. How do we open them up? How can we create enclaves where people can meet, where circulation is stimulated, where there are green spaces, and cooling tunnels… Is there a logic by which we can introduce such openness into our towers? By means of stepped floors? By creating caves? By dividing towers in half? By rotating blocks?

Each hypothesis leads to a series of interventions. How far can we go before the tower collapses, before it becomes unaffordable? Together, these series form an army of towers that contribute to a more porous city. Why wait?
