Sol Lewitt

Sol LeWitt is considered to be one of the icons of modern art. His sculptural work of the 60`s contributed to a change in our perception of art and laid the foundations for minimalist and conceptual art. The reduction of form and content is part of the constructivist tradition of the 20th century. The idea of authorship had thereby been superceded offering new areas of artistic opportunity.
