The Cajunator

In "The Cajunator: An Autobiography," Louisiana native William E. Morris tells his life story in his own words. After setting the stage with tales of his Canadian immigrant and Native American ancestors in the deep woods of Cajun country, William describes his childhood and early adulthood in New Orleans and the backwoods of Acadiana, his military service in Germany during the Cold War, his work tending deep sea divers in the Gulf of Mexico, the Persian Gulf, and the North Sea, his years as a boxing trainer and electronics technician in California, and his retirement to a country home in Mississippi. "The Cajunator" depicts an oft-misunderstood soul who maintains a healthy attitude despite entanglements in sometimes trying relationships with numerous characters both good and bad, anchored by a deep connection with nature as evidenced by a lifetime of experiences as a fisherman, hunter, and world traveler.
