The White Rooms

THE WHITE ROOMS A thriller in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in 1893 Charlotte van Seist wakes up inside the cold, white rooms of macabre coroner Frederik Bastiaansen. What brought her to his mortuary? And why won't the tabloids leave her alone? Charlotte discovers there is a dark secret hiding within her family. When danger comes from every direction, the only one who can help her is the man she fears most. “I'm a godforsaken coroner,” said Frederik. “They call me Fred the Ripper for good reason. Still, your mother makes my skin crawl.” Hilde Blosen is a Dutch writer who lived and studied in Utrecht. The White Rooms is her debut novel.
