Magic is out of fashion. Outlaws make their own. Jemis Greenwing is somewhere in the middle, not that this helps when he's arrested for the murder of a dragon and in trying to unravel that mystery ends up plunged deep into the secret affairs of the so-called least interesting town in Northwest Oriole.
