Rents and real estate prices have been going up for years - especially in growing cities and regions of Germany. Inexpensive living space is increasingly scarce, and particularly lower and medium income groups have to struggle with high rental costs. This title introduces a dialog between design, social and political approaches. The contributions examine the reasons for the return of the housing issue housing and present strategies that can create affordable housing for everybody.
